The Internet needed another source of rants and uninvited uninformed opinions.
Richard Clarke is a former White House advisor and cabinet member who covered terrorism for the Reagan administration and every president after. He gave a rather interesting interview for the venerable TV news show 60 Minutes. A summary of the interview can be found here.
The interview is a must read and is one small part of the growing and undeniable pool of evidence that the Bush administration actively lied to US citizens and the world. Instead of going after those responsible for 9/11 as soon as possible they tried to link 9/11 to Iraq even though no such link existed. I'm not going to quote any specific part of it here because it's really worth reading the entire thing.
Am I the only one who is getting really disgusted with the right wing whoring out 9/11 as a reason for their continued lying, bullying, and as ad campaign fodder?
